Job Description :

Finance Manager in the Technology Transfer Office (Ref.: 526149) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should possess a good Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines, with at least 10 years of post-qualification experience in the accounting and auditing field, of which at least 3-5 years at supervisory or management level. A qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA or equivalent) with a track record of designing Chart of Accounts, implementing new accounting systems, and supervising the day-to-day accounting operation is preferred. They should also have a good command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua), excellent communication and organizational skills, and proficiency in computer applications. Experience in the higher education sector, academic or research institute, or a public/quasi-public organization is a distinctive advantage.

The appointee will oversee the finance and accounting function for the group of companies formulate and implement finance and accounting policies, guidelines and procedures monitor and review financial governance structure and internal control procedures design and implement accounting systems prepare regular and ad-hoc financial reports and analysis including budgets and variance analysis and liaise with auditors relating to the examination of financial statements and other audit-related activities.
