Officer (Multimedia)

The Institute of Professional Education And Knowledge (PEAK) is a unit of Vocational Training Council responsible for the provision of in-service training and professional examination services.  More than 200 major companies have utilised its corporate training services.

Major Duties :

To be responsible for instructional design and development of e-learning programmes for the in-service market;

To assist in daily administration, support and maintenance of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other application platforms; 

To assist in the implementation and management of training and consultancy projects and handle client enquiries;

To liaise and co-ordinate with vendors and internal parties to ensure timely delivery of projects; and

To conduct various user acceptance tests, quality assurance and documentations for the e-learning and other application platforms.

Requirements :

A recognised degree in Information Technology / Multimedia Design or equivalent; 

At least 2 years’ experience in graphic design, UI, UX, multimedia development, etc.;

Good knowledge in graphic, multimedia and e-Learning authoring software (Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator / After Effect / Articulate Storyline is preferable);

Result-driven, customer-focused, and able to work under pressure;

Good negotiation, problem-solving, time management, communication skills; and

Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

Experience in the following would be an advantage:

e-learning programme development and LMS administration;

project management and liaising with clients.

Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. 

The appointee(s) may be posted to any operational units of the VTC, e.g. a campus / centre, to carry out similar duties, and have different post titles which are subject to change at the Council’s discretion.

The appointee(s) may be required to work irregular hours / outside normal office hours and/or at different work locations on a need basis.
