The English Schools Foundation (ESF) is the largest English-medium international school organisation in Hong Kong. Job Description

We are seeking a calm, efficient, and friendly individual to serve as the "Front of House" for our school. The ideal candidate will create a positive first impression for all stakeholders and visitors. She/he will work closely with the Community Engagement and Administrative teams to ensure smooth operations and provide excellent customer service.


Responsibilities

  • Greet staff, students, visitors, and callers in a professional and courteous manner, providing relevant and accurate information and assistance
  • Maintain expert knowledge of school procedures to efficiently address inquiries
  • Ensure the reception area is welcoming and well-maintained
  • Act as the main point of contact and assist in rapid response situations
  • Maintain and update the Fire Evacuation Register
  • Update student attendance records and staff and students' sign-in and sign-out records
  • Update student and staff cards
  • Update relevant badges, such as for visitors and invigilators
  • Manage the school phone directory and the Octopus card system registration for all students/staff
  • Assist with mail delivery and support year-level admins and admissions when needed
  • Collaborate with security guards to ensure visitors are properly attended and registered
  • Perform other ad hoc duties


Requirements

  • Minimum high school certificate or equivalent
  • Good command of English and Cantonese is essential, Mandarin is an advantage
  • Customer service-minded and maintaining high professional standards of attendance, punctuality, and personal appearance
  • Confident and willing to assist visitors, parents, teachers, and students
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple requests simultaneously
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office and Google and willingness to learn
  • Previous experience in an educational setting is an advantage
