Water Dripping Nuisance Investigator

We are urgently seeking for the following candidate:

Job Duties

• Handle and investigate water dripping from air-conditioning nuisance and to take follow-up actions to complaints;
• Prepare investigation reports and periodical/ ad hoc returns, check the compliance of warnings or notices issued, and to prepare draft replies to complainant and related materials;
• Give witness statement in legal proceedings and to testify in court against plead-not-guilty cases;
• Assist in special operations/ campaigns to abate environmental hygiene problems and organizing health education campaigns;
• Assist senior officers as well as other designated personnel to carry out other public health and environmental hygiene duties;
• Any other duties as assigned

Employment Terms

• 5 days a week, 10 hours work shift per day (with 1 hour meal break) between 0730 to 2130), roster will be provided
• Work location: Wanchai, outdoor work will be required subject to operational needs
• 7 months work contract, with possibility of renewal
• Monthly salary : $19,885

Candidates Requirement

• Higher diploma in Environmental Health/ Health Services Management or Higher Diploma in Environmental Technology, Certificate/ Higher Certificate in Building Studies/ Building Services Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;
• Level 2 or above in Chinese and English Language in HKDSE/ HKCEE or equivalent;
• Able to write and communicate in Chinese and English;
• Able to perform outdoor work independently
• Fresh graduates welcome
• Immediately available or with short notice
