About the Client
Our client is a pretisgious member's club in Hong Kong and China. They offer a wide range of services to their memebers including food and beverage, recreation, fitness and wellness. A rare opportunity has arisen and they are now looking for a Assistant Restaurant Manager for their fine dining Chinese restaurant.
About the Role
- Support Restaurant Manager for daily operations, ensure operations are in compliance with management decisions as well as brand image
- Deliver excellent service and maximize customer satisfaction
- Liaise with kitchen staff to ensure all food orders are handled properly and up to standard
- Promote restaurant facilities and services to Members and improve sales to meet forecasted revenues
- Coordinate for related promotional and collateral materials and take care of the promotional counter during festive seasons
- Ensure that the workstations are clean and hygienic and the proper safety procedures are observed by the staff at all times
- Inspect and maintain the operating equipment in good working condition and raise repair and maintenance requests when necessary
- Supervise monthly stock-taking activities
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
- Responsible for new hire training and conducting regular training for the team
- Plan weekly staff rosters and advise the manager on the recruitment and promotion of subordinates
- Prepare daily and monthly operating and sales reports for the manager's review
- Assist in preparing the annual budget for property work, operational equipment, and manpower
- Ad hoc assignments as required
Responsibilties - F.5 or Diploma holder in Hotel Management or relevant
- Minimum of 7 years F&B experience in a hotel or sizable catering establishment with two years in a similar position, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of computer skills and MS Office applications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Team-working skills and strong organizational skills
- Fluent in Cantonese and English, Mandarin is an asset
