Our client, a Japanese F&B company, is now seeking for a high caliber individual to join their team as Japanese speaking purchasing Officer (Ref: #606048)

Job Descriptions:

• Responsible for sourcing & purchasing of food items
• Assist in formulating purchasing plan with a view to controlling the material and storage cost
• Communicate with restaurants and suppliers on purchasing, sourcing, sampling, quotation and ensure timely delivery of the orders
• Source and develop new suppliers and maintain good working relationships with existing suppliers
• Develop new menu and make necessary improvement and evaluation in current menu
• Follow up purchase orders and delivery arrangement to support daily operations
• Maintain awareness of potential sources, products and cost saving opportunities
• Maintain adequate stock level and manage logistics arrangements for receiving stocking and daily transfer
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in any discipline
• With more experience in F&B industry is an advantage will be considered as AM
• Good command of both written and spoken English, Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin) and Japanese (N1).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Well-organized, Multi-tasking, responsible and self-motivated with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Fresh graduates are welcomed
