Job Description - Chief Digital Officer

Established and growing insurance company with strong presence globally.

Reporting to the CEO and assuming overall responsibility for the profit and loss (P&L) of the insurance company's digital business.
Collaborating closely with the IT team, other business owners, underwriting and actuarial team, claims team, risk management, legal, and compliance team.
Developing and implementing a comprehensive digital strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
Identifying new digital business opportunities within the insurance industry, including areas such as general insurance, pension, life insurance, and healthcare.
Overseeing the development and implementation of digital products and services, ensuring they meet customer needs and comply with regulatory requirements.
Monitoring and analyzing market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify areas for innovation and business growth.
Building and managing strategic partnerships with technology vendors, insurtech startups, and other relevant stakeholders to enhance the company's digital capabilities.
Leading and inspiring a high-performing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in the insurance industry with a focus on digital initiatives.
Strong stakeholder management skills, as the Chief Digital Officer will report to the CEO and collaborate with P&L owners, the IT team, and other key stakeholders.
Extensive experience and expertise in both general insurance and life insurance, with a deep understanding of the digital landscape within these sectors.
Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving business targets in the digital domain, preferably within the insurance industry.
Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute digital strategies that align with overall business objectives.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and market insights to drive informed decision-making.
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.
Adaptable and forward-thinking, with a passion for innovation and keeping abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the insurance and digital industries.
