Junior Research Analyst at Tier Healthcare Venture Capital

Our client, a well-respected healthcare Venture Capital fund based in Hong Kong, specializes in advanced healthcare investment. They are currently seeking a Junior Research Analyst/Associate (Scientist, Ph.D.) to join their team.

Qualifications:

. PhD Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Biology, Life Sciences, Immunology, or any related field.

. Prior experience in private equity/venture capital, equity research, investment banking, or management consulting is preferred. Experience in research labs and/or clinics may also be considered.

. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

. Ability to thrive in a multi-disciplinary, fast-paced work environment with a strong eagerness to learn and excel.

. Proactive team player with the ability to manage priorities.

. Self-motivated individual who can work independently and possesses exceptional problem-solving skills.

. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

. Based in Hong Kong, with the ability to travel on an ad-hoc basis.

Responsibilities:

. Conduct comprehensive investment research, continually update scientific expertise, and effectively communicate investment insights in targeted technologies. Regularly deliver research findings and share scientific insights with the team.

. Identify and evaluate investment opportunities within the global healthcare and cutting-edge biotech industry.

. Participate in investment due diligence processes, present investment proposals to the investment committee, and assist in deal execution.

. Manage portfolio from a board perspective, establish corporate objectives, implement initiatives that enhance value, and develop and execute exit strategies.

. Build relationships with internal and external advisors, individual and institutional investors, and other relevant stakeholders.
