As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) within our Franchise team, you will play a pivotal role in representing our organization as a scientific-based entity with integrity, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, and driving impactful medical strategies.
Position Overview: The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) serves as both an individual contributor and a valued team member within the Franchise team. This role demands advanced technical competence, refined interpersonal skills, and a passion for continuous learning. The MSL will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with medical objectives and strategies.
Responsibilities: - Demonstrate accountability to continuous learning and growth, including recertification where applicable.
- Coordinate and lead therapeutic area updates, team discussions, and training initiatives.
- Attend and report on medical conferences and other relevant meetings.
- Establish robust long-term relationships with Thought Leaders and other key stakeholders.
- Drive medical strategy through proactive engagement with healthcare professionals, research sites, associations, and societies.
- Deliver educational presentations to external audiences and stakeholders.
- Support research projects aligned with medical and brand strategy.
- Generate relevant insights to deepen understanding of patients, HCPs, consumers, or treatment landscape.
- Foster collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications: - 1-4 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison
- Advanced degree in medical or health sciences (e.g., Master, Pharmacy, M.D., PhD, PharmD) preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in communicating scientific information.
- Strong project management ability.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Understanding of clinical trial design and ability to critically evaluate medical literature.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Established ability to build productive work relationships both internally and externally.
