Assistant Cost Controller

We are looking for an Assistant Cost Controller based at Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong!

As an Assistant Cost Controller, we rely on you to:

• Handle the critical section for month end closing, including Journals preparation, stock reconciliation, physical stock count
• Prepare Analysis report, including cost analysis, balance sheet reconciliation and Cost Controller’s reports
• Ensure the Hotel’s policies and Comply requirement of internal control per Controller’s Checklist
• Provide support to operation department including pricing update and management of Point-of-sales systems and Purchase Requisitions
• Conduct a routing review of Par Stock Levels and ensure stock replenishments are adequate and on time
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the supervisor

We are looking for someone who has:

• Higher Diploma / Degree holder, preferably in Accountancy, Hotel Management or related disciplines
• Minimum 2 years work experience in Cost Control; preferably in hospitality / F&B industry, experience in auditing is definitely an advantage
• Sense of Control, independent & self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight schedule
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, knowledges in SCM and Infrasys is a plus
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Fresh graduates from reputable CPA firms are welcomed
