Chief Physician of Anesthesiology

Job Responsibilities

1. Provide anesthesia or sedation for medical operations, including local anesthesia, inhalation and/or intravenous anesthesia, regional block and nerve block anesthesia, etc.
2. Monitor patients before, during and after surgery, and treat patients' side effects and complications of anesthesia
3. Provide and maintain patients' life support and airway maintenance management, and help improve the preoperative preparation of emergency surgery patients
4. Rationally select anesthesia methods, record the operation process, anesthetic drug dosage and patient's intraoperative status
5. Examine patients, obtain medical history, and complete diagnostic items to assess the risks of surgical, obstetric and other medical operations on patients
6. Rationally arrange the patient's intraoperative position to maximize the patient's comfort and facilitate the surgical operation
7. Decide when the patient starts to recover from anesthesia and when he can be transferred to another room or ward, or when day surgery patients can go home
8. During the operation, work together with the surgeon to complete the implementation of anesthesia and ensure patient safety.

Qualifications

Education: Master
Work experience:
More than 5 years of clinical anesthesia experience, experience in presiding over and guiding the intraoperative rescue of critically ill patients, more than 10 years of work experience in a tertiary hospital or above, and at least 2 years of experience as an associate chief physician, with priority given to chief physicians
Required major: Anesthesia or clinical medicine
Other requirements: Associate chief physician and above, practicing physician certificate, anesthetic prescription permission
Language requirements: Good oral and written Chinese and English
