Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe and efficient operations of hotel facilities including electricity, town gas, portable cold and hot water, high and low steam supplies
• Operate and maintain the boiler plant, hot water system, chiller system and associated equipment
• Supervise and conduct preventive maintenance according to planned schedules
• Supervise and control AV technicians for banqueting functions
• Attend emergency calls and follow up work, e.g. fire alarms, lift breakdowns, safe-box destroy and etc.
• Respond to guests’ requests and other Departments’ requests in timely manner
• Ensure that proper comfort level of environment are maintained
• Keep and maintain cleanliness of all machine rooms and plant rooms
• Keep proper and detailed records of plant operation conditions, e.g. air-conditioning, boiler, plumbing and drainage
• Supervise new join and provide proper trainings
• Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned by Superiors

Requirements:

• Diploma holder in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 5 years’ of relevant experience in similar capacity, preferably in Hospitality Industry
• Knowledge of HVAC, boilers, refrigeration, electrical and ELV system
• Registered Electrical Worker in grade A or above and holder of Safety Training Certificate (Green Card)
• Candidate with other relevant certificates will be an advantage
• More experienced candidate will be considered as Senior Duty Engineer
