Pediatric Head Nurse

Job Responsibilities

1. Under the leadership of the superior, be responsible for the administrative management and nursing business of the department
2. According to the target management plan of the nursing department and the department, conscientiously organize and implement, and do a good job of inspection and record keeping
3. Be responsible for the professional quality and ideological education of the nursing staff in this department, improve service attitude, close medical and nursing cooperation, and build a good nursing team
4. Reasonably arrange and inspect the nursing work in the ward, participate in and guide the nursing and rescue of critically ill and premature infants
5. Supervise the nursing staff to strictly implement various rules and regulations and operating procedures, and strictly prevent the occurrence of errors and accidents
6. Regularly participate in the ward rounds of the department director and the attending physician, participate in the department consultation and discussion of difficult cases and difficult nursing problems
7. Implement the business learning and technical training of nursing staff, organize nursing ward rounds, and actively carry out nursing scientific research
8. Regularly supervise and inspect the request and storage of drugs, disposable items, instruments and equipment, and nursing appliances

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree
Work experience:
Good organizational management and coordination skills, with nursing management experience in nursing teaching, scientific research, quality, etc.
Professional knowledge and skills in pediatric nursing, including children's growth and development characteristics, children's health care, common disease nursing, etc.
8 years or more of work experience in tertiary hospitals or abroad is preferred
Required major: Nursing
Language requirements: Chinese and English
