Accounts Payable Supervisor - Hiring Urgently

We are located within Harbour City in the heart of the commercial, shopping and entertainment district, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon. We invite applications for the following position:

Responsibilities:

• Review daily cash and bank position for fund transfer.
• Ensure all payments are properly supported with approval from relevant department heads and settled on time.
• Ensure the payment procedures are properly being followed.
• Prepare standard journal vouchers for month-end closing and assist Accountant in performing the month-end account closing.
• Ensure unused cheques are kept in safe custody.
• Prepare debit notes for approval of Assistant Director of Finance.
• Monitor team members’ performance/coaching.
• Liaise with different parties for payment issues
• Handle ad hoc assignments as requested.

Requirements:

• Tertiary education in Accounting or related disciplines with relevant academic background.
• Computer literacy on Cambridge, FLEX System and Microsoft Office.
• Well versed in written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Minimum 3 years of accounts payable experience (in Hotel accounting field is preferred).
• LCCI Third Level or above.
