Assistant Accountant

Assistant Accountant (GL)

Responsibilities:

Perform daily journal entries and bank reconciliation works and relevant accounting duties;

Prepare the month end financial report and financial analysis report;

Assist on the annual budget and rolling forecast report;

Assist on annual audit and tax computation for Hostel Services;

Handle Funding Projects control and prepare the progressive report;

Participate in process improvement to enhance the workflow efficiency and effectiveness;

Prepare monthly Balance Sheet schedules;

Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Degree in Accounting with recognized professional accounting qualification;

3-5 years' relevant experience in accounting / auditing field; with NGO experience will be an advantage;

Proficiency in MS office, especially in Microsoft Excel;

Experience in Oracle accounting system is preferred;

Experience in projects on new process/service development, automation of new process and system enhancement to improve operational efficiency is an advantage;

Good command of both written & spoken English and Chinese;

Self-motivated, detail-oriented and responsible person

Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced changing environment;

Immediate available is highly preferred.
