Assistant Events Manager

We are located within Harbour City in the heart of the commercial, shopping and entertainment district, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon. We invite applications for the following position:

Responsibilities

• Monitor closely and constantly of confirmed group rooms inventory in PMS to ensure accurate occupancy forecast to enable better revenue management
• Conduct site inspection and entertain potential accounts and resident groups organizers based on business priorities
• Ensure compliance with legislated health and safety requirements within the work place
• Ensure that all Group Event Orders and Group Resume are made and is distributed in a timely manner
• To handle all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problem are resolved satisfactorily
• Serves the customer by understanding their needs and recommending the appropriate features and services that best meet their needs and exceed their expectations while building a relationship and loyalty to Marco Polo Hotels

Requirements

• Minimum 2 year of experience in hotel operations
• Good communicator with excellent presentation, verbal, written and people skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Well organized, with good planning and follow-up skills
