Job Description - Assistant Leasing Manager

Miramar Group , based in Hong Kong, was established in 1957 and has been listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange since 1970 (HKEx Stock Code: 71). Miramar Group is a member of Henderson Land Group, with a diversified business portfolio covering hotels and serviced apartments, property investment, food and beverage and travel services in Hong Kong and major cities in China.

Due to substantial expansion plans, we are now looking for an Assistant Leasing Manager  to join our Group.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle all aspects of leasing, renewal, and trade-mix development within Mira Place, including tenancy administration, lease negotiations, premises handover and takeover, and fitting-out works.
  • Actively seek out and cultivate relationships with potential prestigious retail brands and F&B groups to enhance the tenant mix and overall appeal of the shopping malls.
  • Assist in conducting market research, analyzing data, compiling reports, and staying updated on retail trends to inform leasing decisions and strategies.
  • Collaborate with external agents and internal teams to maximize rental income and property value through effective leasing strategies and tenant management.
  • Monitor occupancy and vacancy rates, turnover rates, and the effectiveness of marketing efforts to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Real Estate, Property Management or related disciplines is preferred.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in retail leasing, preferably with major developers and shopping malls. Candidates with less experience will also be considered as Senior Leasing Officer.
  • Conversant with Landlord Tenant Consolidation Ordinance (LTCO) and Building Management Ordinance (BMO).
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese is required.
  • Good negotiation skills and Customer Relationship Management.
  • Strong business network, sociable, aggressive, sensitive to figures, and a can-do attitude.
