Job Description - Full-time Senior Event Marketing Officer / Assistant Event Marketing Manager

As a Full-time Senior Event Marketing Officer / Assistant Event Manager , you will be responsible to provide support with internal and external business interactions across HK, Greater China and oversea countries with the responsibilities including:

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies and plans, in line with our goals and define resources to support it
  • Explore and build relations with different stakeholders and potential partners in joint marketing activities in Hong Kong, Greater China and oversea countries;
  • Liaise with internal consultants and external partners and agencies to execute events including conferences, training and workshops; to provide advice on best practices, trends and emerging platforms in each of the key markets.
  • Drive all kinds of events including media luncheons, workshops, office tours and industry conferences, etc in different targeted cities and helping to assess their effectiveness
  • Gather resources and collaborate with team and subcontractors to deliver projects according to plan.
  • Assist in monitoring and coordinating progress of projects and ensure all of them are on schedule.
  • Prepare marketing materials including sales collaterals, trainings, presentations, counter cards, posters, publications etc.
  • Create data-driven and engaging social media posts on multiple platforms for local Hong Kong and Greater China market (FB, IG, WeChat, Weibo, Zhihu, Redbook) 
  • Liaise with internal teams, external agencies and business partners on marketing activities and projects
  • Conduct market intelligence
  • Ad hoc project support as assigned by Marketing Manager and Director

 

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or any related discipline;
  • 4 year solid experience marketing field, preferably in people service industry in Hong Kong and China;
  • Hands on experience in press release writing, copy writing of communication materials, promotional campaigns, social media, website and event organization; or knowledge in psychology and SEN preferred;
  • Excellent presentation, organization, interpersonal, communication skills and relation building with all levels;
  • Pro-active, can-do attitude, strong sense of responsibility, and able to handle multi-tasks ;
  • Excellent in written & spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua;
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Chinese word processing.
