IT Security Engineer

Responsibilities :

• Perform risk assessments and vulnerability scan by using security scan tools 
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to address vulnerabilities promptly
• Respond IT security incidents, conduct investigations, take recovery and preventive actions
• Utilize security tools to monitor abnormal events to meet the requirements of IT security and compliance
• Identify emerging technology issues, security trends, vulnerabilities and threats intelligence to enhance the maturity of 360-degree security defence 
• Assist in maintaining security controls for internal or external audit and ISO 27001 Certification; support IT security and compliance related projects and training

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Engineering or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years’ related experience in information security or data privacy
• Certification in Information Security is preferable (e.g. CISSP, CEH or CISA)
• Experience in IT risk handling, IT risk auditing and compliance
• Experience in using Windows and Linux servers
• Hands on experience in IT security products such as DLP, IPS, WAF, end point security, patch management and hardening
• Knowledge in information security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Benchmark is preferred
• Good analytical and communications skills
• Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
