Job Description - NGO Centre/House Operation

We, Solomon HR is inviting the following talent for a global NGO client.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the proper functioning of the centre (around 20 rooms) and managing the day-to-day operations

Responsible for the supervision, training and outsource contractors

Maintain good coordination and relationships with residence (families) and external partners

Ensure the smooth transition of family move-in and related issues 

Assist in the procurement and the operating expenditure of the building

Oversee the repair and maintenance of the house building and facilities

Requirements:

Higher Diploma / Degree is preferred (Social Work or related discipline) and experienced in Residential Care Home and Rehabilitation services a plus

Minimum 4-5 years post qualification experience in social services 

Experience and knowledge in residential, housekeeping management, programmes/events, facilities management or building management 

Good communication, administration skills and project management 

Proficient in both English and Chinese, written and verbal (Mandarin is an advantage)

Hands on knowledge of MS Office applications

Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekend and public holidays (5 days per week)
