The Product Management Manager for Cytiva is responsible for conducting in-depth market research, analyzing competitors, developing and executing market entry strategies, including product positioning, localization implementation, etc. Additionally, this role will be responsible for demand forecasting, product allocation, equipping sales tools, training and resources, and demo instrument management.

This position is part of the D&M Modality located in Shanghai and will be on-site. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Market Research:Conduct thorough market research to understand the needs and preferences of target customers. Competitor Analysis:Analyze competitors' products, market strategies, and sales performance to identify market opportunities and potential threats. Strategy Execution:Responsible for the development and execution of strategies, including:

  • Developing and executing Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies.
  • Managing New Product Launch (NPL) processes.
  • Implementing product localization strategies to ensure products meet the needs of different markets.

Demand Forecasting:Create and maintain product demand forecasts to inform product planning and inventory management. Product Allocation:Allocate product resources based on market demand and sales strategies. Sales Support:Deliver sales forecasts to ensure the sales team can accurately predict and plan sales activities. Sales Tools and Training:Provide the sales team with necessary tools, training, and resources to improve sales efficiency and effectiveness. Demo Instrument Management:Manage the procurement, allocation, and maintenance of demo instruments to ensure smooth sales demonstrations.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Bioprocess Engineering, or a related discipline is required. Analytical Acumen: Exceptional data analysis skills are necessary to interpret market data, identify trends, and forecast demand. Candidates must be able to apply critical thinking and problem-solving techniques to make data-driven decisions. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are vital for this role. Candidates must be able to convey complex information clearly and persuasively, both in writing and in person. Interpersonal skills should include the ability to build rapport, negotiate, and collaborate effectively with team members and cross-functional partners.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in the fields of market research and product management is essential. A minimum of 2 years Strong project management capabilities are required to oversee the execution of market strategies, coordinate resources, and ensure timely delivery of projects. Experience with project management tools and methodologies is a plus.
