Senior Human Resources Officer / Human Resources Officer

The appointee will carry a job title of ‘Senior Human Resources Officer’ (at the rank of ‘Executive Officer II’) / ‘Human Resources Officer’ (at the rank of ‘Project Co-ordinator II’) and serve as an administrator and in-house trainer of staff training and engagement initiatives in promoting a positive workplace and continuous learning culture (such as induction programmes for new staff, engagement events, and administration of training sponsorships and grants), and play a constructive role in ensuring effective daily business operations, project work, and supervision and coaching of support staff.
Applicants for the Senior Human Resources Officer post should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree; (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website: (iii) at least 2 years’ post-degree administrative, human resources management, and/or training-related work experience, preferably in higher education institutions or sizable organisations; (iv) an effective command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (v) the ability to work independently under tight timelines with a positive attitude and high attentiveness to details; (vi) strong communication, problem-solving, organisational and multi-tasking skills; (vii) good team spirit, learning-orientation, high adaptability and commitment in providing quality outputs and professional services; and (viii) proficiency in computer applications, such as MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Knowledge of and experience in webpage content maintenance, animation production, and poster design would be an advantage. Shortlisted candidates may be invited to sit for a written assignment. Applicants who do not fulfil the requirement in (ii) above may be considered for the Human Resources Officer post.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
