Senior Investment Risk Manager

* Key role in the sustainable development of the regional business* Focus on private deals such as real estate, infrastructure, natural resources and private equity* Opportunity to work within a diverse team of professionals

* Provide risk advice and sign-off on new investment proposals for the investment committees
* Act as Risk representative towards external stakeholders including Clients, Regulator, Auditor
* Represent the risk team in investment review processes
* Conduct regular risk management activities including risk oversight activities
* Maintain an open and constructive relationship with the members of the relevant investment teams
* Update and maintain score cards for external managers
* Interact with other Risk Managers within the global IRM team to maintain and further develop IRMs suite of deliverables and advice
* Implement and maintain Asset Management Asia’s risk management framework, guidelines and fund characteristics based on Asset Management’s global risk management framework
* Ensure that the investment portfolios operate according to approved characteristics and other risk guidelines on an ongoing basis

Requirements:
* A Bachelor or Master degree in the areas of financial (risk) management
* 10+ years’ experience in a related capacity
* Strong understanding of financial risk management practices, combined with strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Strong knowledge of investment products, particularly alternative investments; experience in other asset categories is considered an advantage
* Knowledge of climate risk and ESG risk is preferred
