We are seeking for a capable and experienced Accounting Clerk/Officer, as below responsibilities and requirements
Responsibilities:
- Communicate and provide customers with Invoices and statements along with timely follow up for dues.
- Coordinate with suppliers and maintain the paperwork and accounts with them.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in companies standard system.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Prepare and file tax returns
- Communicate with customers about any queries, answer phones and emails regarding any accounting / office related issue
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Coordinate with auditors and other external parties as and when necessary
- Preparing reports as required by management.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree/Higher Diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field is an advantage
- At least 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience (Advantage if working experience in logistics company)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to details and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Fluency in English and Cantonese (or Mandarin) is preferred
Additional qualifications that may be desired for certain roles include experience with financial analysis, project management skills, and knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements in Hong Kong.
