Client Service & Business Development Officer

Responsibilities:

• Client management and advancing business growth by nurturing relationships with both existing and prospective clients.
• Take part in business development activities including potential client identification, presentations, and client meetings.
• Direct and manage product sourcing by collaborating with Asian supporting offices. 
• Aiming for long-term client relationship building, maintaining, and strengthening through execution across all regional offices worldwide.
• Project management Independently
• Communicate and coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders regarding all administrative and operational matters.
• Perform additional duties as assigned on an ad-hoc basis.
• Support Supervisor in preparing presentation materials for meetings.
• Develop and train existing personnel and relevant country merchandising personnel.

Requirements:

 

• Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business, Retail Merchandising, or related field.
• 3-8 years of experience or above in MNC companies, preferably in home products, furniture or other hardgoods. 
• Strong communication, people, and partnership skills to communicate effectively with US head office and Asian vendors.
• Understanding of buying office, manufacturing principles, materials, processes, U.S. and Europe customs, international logistics and trade with hands-on approach.
• Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with Clients.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, sensible, deadline conscious, adaptive, responsible, well-organized and attention to details.
• Fluent in conversation, written and comprehension of English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Willing to travel.
