The Tung Wah Group of Hospitals is the largest charitable organization in Hong Kong. At present, we offer Medical and Health Services, Education Services and Community Services to the community with over 360 service centres spreading over the territory of Hong Kong.

Location: Sheung Wan

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Render clerical support for daily personnel administration matters such as recruitment and appointment;
  • provide logistical support, design poster & related materials and liaise with vendors in organizing social and recreational activities to all staff members;
  • process applications for staff welfare benefits/grants, and provide administrative support in staff schemes/awards;
  • provide administrative support for updating the contents of the HR related e-platform(s) and the arrangement of the committee meetings;
  • undertake general office administration such as record keeping, office supplies, maintenance of office equipment and stock-taking;
  • handle enquiries from internal staff members and external parties; and
  • perform any other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate should have/be:

  • (a) 5 passes in HKCEE including English Language (Syl. B), Chinese Language and Mathematics or equivalent plus at least 2 years of relevant experience; or
    (b) completed F.5 plus at least 3 years of relevant experience;
  • strong computer knowledge including Chinese and English word-processing, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and Photoshop/PhotoImpact; and
  • proficient in written Chinese and English.

Compensation & employment terms:

The successful candidate will initially be offered a 2-year contract with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience. The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
