Job Description - Manager, Key Account Management

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Key Account Manager to join our fast-growing team at Tradebeyond. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with our most important clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded. This role requires a strong sales background, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned key clients and cultivate strong working relationships with the assigned key customers to drive customer satisfaction and profit growth
  • Responsible for managing clients within specific industries to build expertise and be trusted advisors
  • Sell and promote our services and solutions to the corporate clients
  • Provide solutions through face to face visits, accounts review and reporting, product forums and other account management activities 
  • Act as a contact point for key customers and conduct regular review
  • Create and implement complex solutions with the use of data and logistics expertise
  • Identified root causes for issues and prepare improvement plans
  • Support customer retention through pro-active relationship management
  • Manage annual contract negotiations and resolving challenges in a skillful way
  • Address clients and sales’ feedback to key support functions such as Product and Trade Marketing

 

Skills and experience:

  • Degree or above in any discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding / supply chain or related
  • Experience in IT business system implementation would be highly preferred
  • Excellent customer management skills and leadership
  • Knowledge in data analysis / Scrum / Agile is an added advantage
  • Experience in developing long term and trusted relationships with corporate clients
  • Strong presentation, negotiation and communication skills, with strong business acumen
  • Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Self-motivated, aggressive and hardworking
  • Business travel is required
