Job description
As product engineer, you design new products and deliver projects on time in full. Also you will do follow-up for products. You will play an active role in designing the future generation of desiccant dryer, filter and other air treatment equipment.
1. Contribute to the company's mission of product leadership by developing safe and reliable products with a First Time Right approach
2. Help to achieve the company's mission of cost leadership through a cost conscious lean design and innovation for cost leading solutions
3. Work closely with Marketing, Sourcing, Production, Quality, and Aftermarket in order to deliver the projects on time in full.
4. Set up a time frame taking the available resources and priorities into consideration. Coordinate tasks to respect to the set planning.
5. Write functional specifications and define test program based on risk assessment
6. Closely get involved with prototype assembly and prototype tests in the lab
7. Play an active role in supplier visits and technical meetings with suppliers together with the Sourcing engineers in order to have components with the right quality at market-leading cost.
8. Work closely with other department to achieve cost, quality and productivity improvement on products' design, process, logistic and so on.
9. Visit customers to get a better customer understanding and follow-up endurance tests or quality issues.
10. Work according to a lessons learned approach and believe there is always a better way.
Requirements:

1. Minimum 2 years product design and development experience in machine engineering, preferable in air treatment
2. Experience in project management is a plus.
3. Knowledge in heat exchange is a plus.
4. University degree or similar through experience, major in mechanical engineering or related area.
5. Good command of English and Mandarin (both oral and written)
6. Good CAD skills, as well as software skills (Inventor, MS Office)
7. Being familiar with compressed air treatment is a plus
8. Being familiar with fluid (compressed air) knowledge is a plus
9. Being familiar with engineering thermodynamics is a plus
10. Being familiar with electrical is a plus
