Purchasing Officer
Your role:

• Responsible for strategic sourcing and contract support, including the preparation of RFP documents, evaluation of proposals, vendor selection, pricing and contract negotiation, contract administration, vendor management, management of logistics support staff, etc.
• Work closely with business units to understand their requirements
• Participate in relevant sourcing ad hoc projects

To succeed in this role:

• Holder of Associate Degree or Degree holder in a relevant discipline
• 1 year's purchasing experience in a sizable organization
• Prior experience in IT & T procurement an advantage
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
• Strong analytical, and negotiation and leadership skills
• Proficiency in PC application including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing
• Self-motivation, ability to work in teams and under pressure, and meeting tight deadlines
