Regional Accounting Supervisor

Mainfreight, a listed company in New Zealand, provides international freight forwarding services and logistics solutions with strong presence in Australia, New Zealand, Europe and the United States. Mainfreight is expanding rapidly in Asia with offices in China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. We are looking for an energetic individual to fill up the following position:

 

Responsibilities:

• Report to Regional Finance Manager
• Prepare regular reports for Mainfreight Asia like weekly PNL, monthly AR and KPI reports, profitability and expense analyses;
• Review month end closing and prepare the consolidated reporting package of our Asian operation;
• Assist in system development, improvement and implementation;
• Liaise and communicate with auditors and service providers;
• Perform ad hoc assignments as and when required

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma holder in Accounting or related discipline;
• A minimum of 5 year experience from audit or accounting background;
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of internal control;
• Able to work under pressure;
• Self-motivated with a proactive mindset, independent, stable with strong sense of integrity and responsibility;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin
