Otic Hearing and Speech Centre:

Otic Hearing and Speech centre was established in 2005. We are one of the biggest hearing centres in Hong Kong. We have 8 centres throughout Hong Kong, Kowloon, and New Territories. We are the sole Hong Kong distributor of the world leading hearing aids manufacturer, Oticon A/S. Through the complete range of advanced audiological equipment and professional expertise, Otic Hearing aspires to be renowned for our capacity to assist our clients to regain their quality-of-life by tailoring individualized rehabilitation programs and consultation services. Our centres continually strive to improve the quality of services through the professional development of our staff. We prioritize on serving people with our aim of putting People First.

Job Responsibilities:

l Select and administer diagnostic hearing tests; operate diagnostic equipment; determine type and degree of hearing impairment and h earing handicap for newborn to elderly.

l Explain audiological services and hearing solutions in a professional manner easily understood by the clients and professionals.

l Interpret diagnostic hearing test results and prepare professional reports for the clients and medical professionals.

l Fit hearing aids and assistive listening devices; and conduct counseling for the clients and their families. Conduct hearing aid verification and validation.

l Master the ear impression skills for earmoulds and custom-made hearing aids production.

l Conduct educational seminars to improve public awareness of hearing impairment and hearing health care.

l Update audiological knowledge by tracking trends in new techniques and research continuously ; participat e in local and overseas professional seminars; read and writ e professional publications; participat e in professional organizations.

l Fresh Graduate  is welcome to apply for the Audiologist Trainee post.

Compensation and Benefits:

l We offer competitive base salary and performance bonus program; base salary and performance bonus program will be adjusted according to the numbers of year of professional experience.

l Year-end bonus is available, based upon performance.

l Five-d ay workweek.

l Comprehensive on-job training program in Hong Kong and overseas, as well as a continuing education allowance.

Requirements:

l Master degree or above in Audiology, local degree or overseas equivalent qualification.

l Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with passion in providing professional health care , learning new knowledge, providing professional service and team work spirit.

l Fluent in Cantonese and English Language. Putonghua is preferred.

l Member of the register of audiologists accredited by the Department of Health preferred.
