Engineering Manager, F&B

About Client:

With production facilities in Hong Kong and Asia, our client the largest producer of wholesome food in the world, and consumers throughout the Asia-Pacific area use their goods. To supervise central kitchen operations by managing a technical resources team and working successfully with various peers within the organization. Currently they are seeking a Engineering Manager for supporting all maintenance program and repairing jobs to keep the most efficient way of equipment in operation and Capex project execution.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all maintenance program and repairing jobs to keep the most efficient way of equipment in operation and Capex project execution.
• Promote and implement the Safety Management System and industrial safety regulation.
• Coordinate with contractors and internal functions to complete the improvement works and various projects to fulfill all statute requirements for the plant license.
• Provide technical service and support to all function team on shop floor hygiene modification that under the guidance of GMP and HACCP Program
• Prepare and follow up with the internal and external audit findings and provide engineering support for the IMS corrective action plan, i.e., ISO-9001, ISO-14001, ISO-22000, etc.
• Professional review and upgrade on the set up of processing line, plant equipment and the modification works on production line for the i.e., ciency and safety control issues.
• Support and implement of all engineering projects and building facilities managements.
• Act as the Safety Officer and provide the support for safety policy and training of Safety Committee
• Handling of any ad hoc projects as assigned by the Company and provide the skill trainings for Engineering team members.

Candidates Profile:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering study.
• At least 8 years managerial experience in food manufacturing and related field.
• Familiar with GMP, HACCP and Integrated Management System of ISO.
• Familiar with industrial safety management system and occupational health and safety.
• Knowledge on project management and preventive maintenance program execution.
• Proactive, energetic, hardworking, result-driven, discipline regulated and pragmatic personality.
• Outstanding leadership skills and capabilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal.
• High level of analytic ability, good problem-solving skills and desire for continuous improvement.
• Good English, Mandarin and Cantonese speaking and writing ability.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of SAP System preferred.
