Job Responsibilities:
Assist the maintenance team , supports all aspects of the Maintenance Department, including general building and grounds maintenance, as needed. Assist with the installation of all new equipment. Complete factory work orders, parts lists and preventive maintenance. Ensure all plant equipment is operating at optimal levels by performing short-term repairs and long-term improvements. Complete tasks comprehensively and accurately to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. Understand and follow established safety guidelines, plans and procedures actively work to prevent safety incidents. Support food safety, legality and quality programs. Ensure product quality by adhering to good manufacturing practices, food safety preventive controls, product specifications and quality procedures. Perform other duties as needed to support Starbucks business goals and values. Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements Education: High school degree or above Skills: Ability to accept flexible scheduling to support business needs Ability to work in accordance with safety, quality and sanitation standards, policies and procedures Ability to be clear and concise Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment Ability to understand mechanical and technical equipment manuals Ability to work in elevated areas with ladders, roofs, overhead lights Ability to be independent work and make decisions independently Basic computing skills Knowledge of welding, piping and machining Attention to detail Ability to plan and schedule work Job Requirements: Relevant experience working in an automated manufacturing or distribution environment (5 years) In general Relevant experience working with industrial maintenance and electrical systems (5 years) is preferred Experience repairing and maintaining high-speed packaging equipment (2 years) Familiarity with food safety regulatory requirements and global standards, including Preventive Controls for Human Food (21 CFR 117) and the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). Experience with BRC or SQF certification programs.
