Procurement Manager

About the company

A leading US manufacturing firm has a promising business growth in APAC and in recent 3 years with over 300 headcounts in HK. Considering business expansion and recent developed centralised procurement & e-tendering system in global office. They are hiring a Procurement Manager to manage the global spending strategies and supplier segmentation in its corporate services categories

Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement activities related to its corporate services including HR, Finance, Marketing and Legal
• Assist the Senior Procurement Manager in developing and implementing procurement strategies and policies
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential service providers
• Evaluate supplier proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms and conditions
• Prepare and issue requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotations (RFQs), and requests for information (RFIs) to potential suppliers
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual agreements
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the transportation procurement function

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent in Supplier Management, Purchasing, Procurement, Facilities Management, or related subject
• Minimum 8+ years relevant experience in procurement preferably in MNC/ Sizable local organisation
• Strong knowledge of transportation procurement processes, regulations, and best practices
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
