Senior Quality Manager

About the company

The worlds leading design and manufacturing company specialised in home appliance productions for its global retail brands. Considering business expansion in its portfolio, they are hiring for a Senior Quality Manager to lead the factory operations and monitor all the QA QC activities in its owned factory in China. This role will report to GM Factory Operations and work closely with Head of QA & work collaboratively with Production, Compliance and Quality team to ensure the product quality and comply with org standard.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Quality team in China with about 40-60 factory operating staff
• Monitor and review the QA QC verification process with overseas clients in its due diligence, compliance and reporting
• Design and manage the overall quality and environmental system and lead the QMS EMS audits on compliance and improvement
• Review and implement QA & Regulatory compliance and corrective actions points to align the corporate quality standard
• Review overall performance and provide recommendations by using quality matrix and reports for continuously improvements
• Monitor QA/QC performance by gathering relevant production data and prepare statistical reports
• Conduct continuous evaluation and support on capacity planning and alignment of resources

Requirements

• Diploma or above
• Minimum 10 years relevant QA & QC experience working in Electronic/ Electrical related/ Home Appliance related industries OR sectors
• Solid leadership experience working in China factories (With complex component levels)
• Certified Six Sigma is a plus
• QC onsite & audit experience is a must
• Solid leadership skills in recent 2-3 jobs
• Well organised with strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Mandarin is essential
