Job Description - AM/M for Marketing

Airstar Bank Limited, a jointly established entity between Xiaomi Corporation and AMTD Group, is a virtual bank licensed by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for card and payment services, with a focus on acquisition, retention, and loyalty programs.
  2. Lead market analysis to assess customer needs, define market segments, and track competitive dynamics.
  3. Drive the go-to-market strategy for new product launches and enhancements, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  4. Manage multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, influencer partnerships, and traditional advertising.
  5. Collaborate with analytics teams to track campaign performance, optimize marketing spend, and refine customer segmentation.
  6. Oversee the production of marketing collateral in alignment with brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  7. Cultivate relationships with domestic and international partners, including card networks, merchants, and fintech firms, to develop joint marketing initiatives.
  8. Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and company policies affecting card and payment products.
  9. Manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree or professional marketing certification preferred.
  2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in marketing with a significant focus on card products and payment services within the banking or financial services sector.
  3. Strong track record in developing and implementing successful marketing strategies, with a focus on digital and payment technologies.
  4. In-depth understanding of the financial services regulatory environment in Hong Kong and the Greater China region.
  5. Fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin (spoken and written) – this is a strict requirement.
  6. Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to marketing decisions and a customer-centric mindset.
  7. Highly creative with the ability to conceive and execute innovative marketing campaigns.
  8. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing marketing team.
  9. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  10. Well-organized with outstanding project management capabilities and attention to detail.
