As a Business Development Manager working with Amazon Web Services, you will have the exciting opportunity to help promote the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology. We are seeking for a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager with business savvy, customer network with start-ups and unicorn companies and technical background necessary to help establishing AWS as a key technology platform provider. Your responsibilities will include identifying and developing new business opportunities for new digital native accounts for AWS. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate strong connections with start-ups and unicorn companies, proven track record for acquiring new business, hunting and business development capabilities, and technical selling, along with the ability to show a deep understanding around how CXO, software developers, cloud architects speak and think. This individual should be prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver on revenue targets, and should be able to show a track record of building and closing new business opportunities. • Develop and execute against territory strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets and goals
• Identify business opportunities and hunting for new customers in a defined territory that leads to the creation and maintenance of a robust pipeline
• Prospect and generate new business by identifying potential customers and developing relationships with key decision makers
• Differentiate AWS and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
• Propose AWS services by understanding customer needs, presenting and demonstrating how AWS services can meet those needs
• Assist customers in identifying use cases for priority adoption of Amazon Web Services as well as best practices implementations
• Accelerate customer adoption through education and cross team engagement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, solutions architects, service organization, and support to ensure customer satisfaction and enhance the customer experience
• Build and manage business development pipeline to ensure a healthy flow of opportunities and maintain accurate records in CRM system
• Analyze metrics data from your territory to help evolve your strategy and reports.
• Possess the technical ability to explain (not implement) Cloud Computing, infrastructure solutions (Server, Storage, Networking, DC Services) & Internet architectures (firewalls, load balancers, etc), Management Tools, Log management, Datalake, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and latest technologies.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree
• 8+ years technology related business development experience (preferably in the technical field or start-ups)
• Proven track record of hunting and acquisition for net new business, achieving sales targets and developing new business, experience in covering digital native customers preferable
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in Cantonese and English, in both written and spoken
