HKBU has embarked on a digital transformation journey that would disrupt the digital experience of all sorts of users - students, teachers, and administrators included.Apart from enhancing the application systems and IT infrastructure to boost productivity and streamline business processes, fundamental changes are being introduced to user’s online and mobile experiences.All websites are being migrated to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) with Adobe Analytics (AA) serving to capture & analyse web activities.A Shopify-powered e-commerce website has been set up for the Clinic Division of the School of Chinese Medicine.Analytics from both the e-commerce website and the HKBU mobile app traffic are similarly captured using AA to enable data-driven decision making across multi-channel activities.

We are looking for a digital marketer, copywriter, analyst who wants to widen his/her exposure on user engagement and business outcomes while specialising his/her technical skills on enterprise grade management and analytics platforms widely adopted by large corporates worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the business needs and KPIs of various departments in terms of their online presence;
• Facilitate departments to discover customer journeys that are relevant to their KPIs;
• Identify metrics that can address the identified KPIs;
• Configure the various platforms to collect the identified metrics;
• Construct the metrics to reveal the underlying marketing funnels;
• Prepare creatives & messaging for use in digital campaigns;
• Launch and monitor email campaigns with tools;
• Post messages and monitor performances on social media channels; and
• Perform ad hoc assignments and responsibilities requested by supervisor.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, analytics, information technology, business management, accountancy, finance or related disciplines;
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing related jobs;
• Working knowledge of social media and digital campaigns;
• Good understanding of SEO and performance best practices;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage; and
• Must be a self-starter and able to work under pressure.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

The initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract up to two years. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to performance review and mutual agreement. 

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
