Merchandiser (Toys)

Responsibilities Business development

• Responsible for category sourcing activity, including searching novelty and new supplier, price comparison and negotiation etc.


• Responsible for project execution with critical path tracking and good time management


• Follow up orders, including delivery time control

Customer and supplier management

• Communicate with headquarter to clarify inquiries and specifications


• Supply chain management including supplier search, screen and identify potential supplier. Monitor suppliers’ performance


• Arrange and implement buying trip independently, including liaise with supplier to arrange schedule, communicate with supplier and buyer, accompany buying trip, prepare trip report etc.


• Supplier negotiation: price review and control, cross-quote etc.

Requirements

• DSE / Form 5 or above


• Minimum 3 years above independent product sourcing working experience in trading company or buying office


• Experience in handling toys products and European market is preferred


• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation and problem solving skill


• Good time management and project management skills


• Able to work independently, self-motivated, responsible, well-organized and willing to learn.


• Occasionally Travel is required


• Good command of English and Mandarin


• Sound PC knowledge including MS office


• Immediate availability is preferred
