Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for sourcing and purchasing of concrete and other building materials for construction sites.
• Evaluate suppliers' performance based on the quality, price, and delivery time.
• Arrange for material testing at third party laboratories to ensure quality
• Prepare purchase orders, quotations and price comparisons.
• Carry out pre-contract tasks such as measuring, pricing, costing and tendering.
• Establish and maintain clear cost plan for each project.
• Collaborate with team members and external stakeholders to develop strong working relationships.
• Attend meetings and site inspections as necessary.
• Evaluate variation works and measure variation.
• Conduct market research and stay updated on new materials.

Job Requirement

• Diploma / Degree in related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years work experience in construction industry, preferably in purchasing
• Knowledge in eco-friendly and sustainable building materials will be an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of both written and spoken Chinese
• Experience in China market and working with China suppliers will be an advantage.
