Research Head (Bond Syndicate or DCM Syndicate Head) (Ref: GCF-RH-ML-ICBCA)

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the team in its aforementioned responsibilities, including pricing recommendations, calls, etc.
• Represent the team within the Department and within the bank, as well as to the market.
• Make decisions on pricing recommendations and strategy.
• Build existing and potential investor relationships in conjunction with sales.
• Proactively reach out to the market for deal pipeline, investor trends, etc.
• Guide and train the team on assessing the market as well as issuers and appropriate credit metrics.

Requirements:

• University graduate in Business/ Finance or related disciplines, preferably with MBA/ CFA.
• Minimum of 10 years’ banking experience with sound knowledge of relevant debt capital markets industry.
• Deep understanding of capital markets and fixed income product.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Direct experience building and managing a team.
• Fluent in written and spoken English, Putonghua and Cantonese.
• Candidates with less experience will be also considered.
