The Wagering Products (WP) Division is responsible for driving the Club's business results through the wagering products of Horse Racing, Football wagering and the Mark 6 Lottery. The division manages the Club's wagering operations and product development with the aim to drive business growth and revenue in a socially responsible manner. In addition, the Wagering Products is also involved in leading our international Commingling business and China Sports Lottery co-operation development.
You will:
Operate Racing Wagering and Mark 6 lottery bet type promotions to drive increased awareness of the availability and features of the full range of betting products across local and simulcast racing events. Maintain an effective Jackpot strategy including allocation of jackpot reserve funds and promotion of natural and seeded jackpots to maximise product turnover, income and customer participation
Adopt a product segmentation-based approach to optimized for the promotion of Racing Wagering products to all Hong Kong customers on local and simulcast racing. Employ Wagering product data analytics based on turnover, income and frequency of participation to best target marketing activities and spend
Be responsible for strategy and execution of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) for Hong Kong B2B Customers in the Professional (Pro A / Pro B) segment. Work in conjunction with other WP Departments and IT Division to optimise customer participation, turnover and income for these B2B customers
Conduct regular tracking and review of racing bet type performance (turnover, income, customer participation) and feedback to Head of Racing Wagering Product for on-going improvement
Manage partnership, sponsorship and limited advertising with HK-based wagering-oriented media (physical and online). Provide fact-based content to facilitate media partners to communicate and promote the Club’s bet types and jackpot information in their media and their style. Measure effectiveness and optimise different hardcore wagering marketing campaigns
Manage the distribution of factual hardcore wagering statistics that are posted under the Club’s brand to the Club’s own channels (retail branches, web)
Provide coaching, direction and leadership to the team by building a working environment in which all team members are well coached and motivated, continuously improving operational efficiency, planning resources and allocating work fairly, establishing and maintaining performance standards
Ensure compliance with Responsible Gambling Policy and all stipulated legal requirements pertaining to wagering, thereby protecting the integrity of the Club’s business
Undertake other duties assigned by management
You should have:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or other related disciplines
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience particularly in product marketing
Interest in and passion for Hong Kong racing and knowledge of the regulatory framework the HKJC operates in
Very deep understanding of the HKJC racing bet types and products
Understanding of the HKJC customer perspectives
Solid experience in launching racing betting products in racing organization or closely related industries
Experience in working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders
People skills and communication skills
Strategic thinking skills
Business acumen and commercial judgement
Less experience will be considered as Senior Manager
The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualification and experience.
