Field Sales Executive (Hong Kong) - with Great Benefits

About the Company 

Our Client is a global distributor of industrial and electronic components serving customers in automation, manufacturing and maintenance.

Responsibilities

We’re looking for a target-oriented, self-motivated Field Sales Executive based in Hong Kong, to be the first point of contact for customers in the assigned market, nurturing strong relationships to drive sales performance.

• Leverage a unique value proposition to differentiate from competitors and meet customer needs through tailored, cost-effective solutions;
  
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop customer strategies and achieve sales objectives;
  
• Foster relationships to understand customer environments and anticipate their needs;
  
• Conduct regular visits and organize events like onsite roadshows and in-house seminars to broaden contact networks and enhance cross-selling opportunities;
  
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive customer records using ERP systems, utilizing database insights for effective sales channel management;
  
• Coordinate with internal sales and technical teams to provide seamless support, from order quotation to fulfilment;
  
• Partner with customer service to elevate the customer experience and improve satisfaction metrics;
  
• Work with finance teams to ensure efficient accounts receivable collections.
  

Requirements

• Tertiary education in engineering or business management would be an advantage;
  
• Sales or account management experience, particularly in industrial engineering or electronics;
  
• Business acumen and an understanding of industry trends and of e-commerce environment;
  
• Goal-oriented professional with a focus on meeting and exceeding performance targets;
  
• Good negotiation and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence decisions;
  
• Analytical skills and understanding of procurement and profitability;
  
• Ability to work well in a distributed team;
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiar with ERP tools;
  
• Ability to work well under pressure.
  

Employment Details

• This role is based in Hong Kong;
  
• Remote working environment, with 60% regional travel requirement to client offices.
