Responsibilities: Design, develop, and enhance trading systems and connectivity solutions using Java and FIX protocol. Collaborate with trading teams, quant developers, and operations teams to gather requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable software solutions. Implement and support FIX connectivity with various exchanges, brokers, and counterparties, ensuring seamless trade execution and order routing. Develop and maintain custom FIX message handlers, parsers, and session managementponents. Optimize code and system performance to achieve low-latency execution and high-throughput trading capabilities. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of FIX-related systems to ensure accuracy, stability, andpliance with industry standards. Monitor and analyze trading system performance, network connectivity, and FIX message flow to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner. Keep abreast of the latest developments and updates in the FIX protocol and industry best practices for electronic trading. Collaborate with infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain trading systems in production environments. Document technical specifications, system architecture, and operational procedures related to FIX connectivity and trading systems. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree inputer science, engineering, or a related field. Strong proficiency in Java programming language, with hands-on experience in developing trading systems. In-depth knowledge of the FIX protocol and experience with implementing FIX connectivity in the financial industry. Solid understanding of electronic trading concepts and workflows, including order management, trade execution, and market data handling. Familiarity with trading venues, exchanges, and market connectivity providers, including knowledge of different asset classes (equities, futures, options, etc.). Experience with low-latency development practices, including network optimization, multithreading, and performance tuning. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debugplex issues in a time-sensitive environment. Knowledge of industry-standard tools and libraries used in FIX connectivity, such as QuickFIX/J, OnixS, or similar. Understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP stack, and socket programming. Excellentmunication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
