The Opportunity
Herbert Smith Freehills are recruiting for a HR System Specialist within our HRIS team to assist with the day-to-day support of Workday globally.
This is an exciting opportunity to participate in the ongoing efforts to embed Workday into the organization following go-live in November 2023, with the opportunity to influence the development and optimisation of the platform.
The post holder will be responsible for leading on the operation of the Workday Support Desk, through the process of building strong internal relationships with our global and regional HR Operations teams. Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:-
Work within a global team responsible for the business configuration and maintenance of all active modules in Workday.
Provide initial troubleshooting and support for a wide range of Workday technical issues, acting as the escalation point for any day-to-day issues.
Collaborate with the team on the development, maintenance supporting all modules in Workday, ensuring that that tasks are prioritised correctly.
Contribute towards upskilling the knowledge across our internal HR teams in their understanding of Workday.
Document all interactions and resolutions accurately within the ticketing systems for future reference and reporting purposes.
Working closely with the Workday Platform Manager, provide recommendations and alternative solutions to system limitations.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and process simplification.
Support with the bi-annual Workday Releases.
Proactively use Workday Community to stay current on new features/functionality, leading practices, and identify resolutions to issues.
Assist with report writing, as required.
Assist the global team with cyclical projects and initiatives.
Supporting our local and global HR team and meeting their systems needs
Generalist knowledge of Workday across functional areas
Providing support for large input exercises.
Assisting in the decommissioning or archiving of systems and tools no longer required post Workday go-live.
