Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy and Planning

Develop comprehensive marketing plans and strategies to effectively promote the HKUST MBA program.

Conduct market research and analysis to identify target demographics, market trends, and competitive positioning.

Collaborate with the admissions team to align marketing initiatives with enrollment targets and program objectives.
 

Brand Management

Develop and maintain a strong and consistent brand identity for the HKUST MBA program.

Ensure brand guidelines are followed in all marketing materials, both online and offline.

Monitor brand perception and implement strategies to enhance brand reputation and recognition.
 

Digital Marketing and Social Media

Drive digital marketing efforts, including website management, search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), and email marketing campaigns.

Develop and implement social media strategies to engage with prospective candidates, alumni, and industry influencers.

Monitor and analyze digital marketing metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
 

Content Creation and Marketing Collateral

Develop compelling and persuasive content for various marketing channels, including website, brochures, presentations, and e-newsletters.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, faculty, corporate partners, alumni and students to gather content and testimonials that highlight the unique aspects of the HKUST MBA program.

Ensure all marketing collateral is up to date, accurate, and aligned with the program's message and branding.

Events and Partnerships

Plan and execute marketing events, such as information sessions, webinars, and networking events, to attract prospective candidates.

Identify and establish strategic partnerships with educational institutions, corporations, and industry organizations to expand the program's reach and visibility.

Represent the HKUST MBA program at industry conferences, fairs, and other relevant events.
 

Qualifications and Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred. 

Minimum of 7 years of working experience in a related field. 

Proven experience in marketing, preferably within the education or higher education sector.

Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable marketing plans. 

Proficiency in digital marketing techniques and platforms, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing content.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. 

Familiarity with the HKUST MBA program or similar programs is a plus. 

Passion for education and commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in business education.
