Job Requirements

Diploma or Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in Product Development, Product Testing and Manufacturing quality control in the field of audio and toys (e.g. Bluetooth earphone/headphone/speakers/RC toy, Power Bank, PC & mobile Accessories, etc.).

Experiences in Product Design is highly preferred.

Strong in-depth knowledge in acoustic or toy.

Good knowledge in product compliance in both US & Europe markets (e.g. FCC, CE standard).

Good knowledge in new product development, manufacturing operations, industrial practices, quality assurance, plastic mold structures, plastic characteristics, process and material for plastic injection, plastic extrusion, metal die-casting, metal extrusion, metal stamping, electronic compounds, chipset & platform, etc.

Strong capability in analysing and technical problem solving with innovative solutions.

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word), 3D CAD/CAM software, Solidwork, AutoCAD, etc.

Based in Hong Kong, occasionally travelling to China is required (subject to COVID-19)

Responsibilities

Responsible for product development and project management of consumer electronic products.

Studying product specifications and design, and testing performance standards with good time management and risk management.

Handling product initialization; checking 3D, packing artwork, IM, products specification, technical information, and In-line check (PP, MP1), etc.

Performing prototype evaluation and tool off sample evaluation.

Preparing project status reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and market trends.

Ensure good documentation and smooth transferring projects from engineering to manufacturing.

Monitor project schedule and evaluate the supplier’s quality system.

Any ad-hoc job tasks and projects as assigned.
