Job description Responsibilities:Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets in the food distribution industry.Identify new business opportunities and potential customers within the assigned territory.Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, addressing their needs, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adapt sales strategies accordingly.Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis to senior management.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and logistics, to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer service.Stay updated with industry developments, product knowledge, and market trends to effectively represent the company's offerings to clients.Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential clients and promote the company's products and services.Continuously assess and improve sales processes, identifying areas for optimization and implementing necessary changes.Qualifications and Requirements:Proven experience 5 in sales, preferably in the food distribution industry.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a sales team effectively.Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain relationships with clients.Results-oriented mindset with a demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets.Expert knowledge of the food distribution industry, including market trends, competitors, and customer preferences.Proficiency in using CRM software and sales analytics tools to track performance and generate reports.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
