The purpose of the ACS Sales Support Specialist role is: a) Maximise the excess capacity on the DHL air network by supporting the sale of this capacity to internal and external customers, and being responsible for customer satisfaction b) Work with internal support teams to maximise sales and revenue growth. c) To gather detailed information about accounts, identify decision-makers, and understands strategic business challenges and priorities d) Constantly monitoring the execution of sales strategy, increasing sales and profitability of the product and support various sales channels, with constant flow volumes      How will you contribute to the success of DHL? * Support sales teams to prepare quotations and contract rates, including rate proposals. * Work closely with the Revenue Mgt team and sales managers to ensure pricing tables are kept up to date and monitored. * Keep up to date on market trends and behaviours in order to be able to support price adjustments. * Monitor the customer allocation/BSA performance ensuring they are maximised each day and early release when not used. Make cancellation/reduction recommendations when performance has declined. * Monitor capacity availability and flag action areas to Sales team and GSAs. * Use available data tools to provide customer information and support the identification of sales leads. * Communicates and maintains record of sales projects and business plan. * Generate and review reports and statistics for supporting sales teams to prepare for business and customer reveiw meetings. * Support pre- and after-sales activities. * Ensure high post-sales satisfaction facilitating positive long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with customers. * Support Customer problem management and report on corrective actions. Share best practices moving forward. * Complete any mandatory Compliance training.   Do you have what it takes? * Degree Holder or equivalent working experience in the Aviation / Air Cargo industry * Fluent in English, written & spoken. (Other languages a benefit) * Preferably 5 years of more experience in airfreight and/or integrator related air cargo business * Ability to work effectively under pressure * Strong diplomacy and persuasion ability * Flexible in working hours and ability to adjust to changes * Team worker * Experience in the cargo aircraft industry and knowledge of aircraft configurations and equipment/contours is a benefit * Excellent computer skills
