We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Manager Product Marketing .
Principal Responsibilities
A Hong Kong-based role reporting to the Head of Product Marketing, Asia, responsible for driving marketing strategies aimed at promoting Asia-managed products and capabilities to internal and external audiences.
This role is part of the Asset Management Marketing & Client Experience team and while the role primarily supports product marketing of Asian funds and capabilities, you will be required to work across the spectrum of propositions and products in the HSBC Asset Management business, as required.
To take ownership of the promotion of Asian investment capabilities to global stakeholders and to support the growth of assets under management of the relevant capabilities Plan and drive the production, dissemination and maintenance of high-quality marketing literature, presentations, videos and digital promotions for Asian investment products and mandates Work closely with investment specialists and portfolio managers to raise the profile of Asian investment capabilities to internal stakeholders and clients Engage with client-facing teams across the network to understand the interests and needs of various client segments in order to create relevant marketing materials and messages Monitor market and competitor intelligence on cross border capabilities and facilitate production of ad hoc market and fund updates, as required to meet business needs Manage, track and report the costs, efficiencies and ROI of marketing activities Partner with the Communications Team to identify and leverage external and internal publicity opportunities Collaborate with external vendors such as creative agencies, media planners, production houses and event organisers to deliver high-quality, effective and cost-efficient marketing assets and activities Project manage to ensure marketing activities are delivered in an accurate and timely fashion Ensure Global Standards, core process and procedures are followed and monitored, and global and local compliance and audit requirements are fully met Adheres to processes and controls to identify and mitigate risks and ensures timely escalation of control issues and reputation risks Requirements
7-9 years relevant work experience in marketing communications/product marketing in the financial services industry Candidates with exposure to Asian markets (equity and/or fixed income) preferred Excellent investment writing skills essential Strong power point and excel skills Good quantitative skills; ability to mine data (via Bloomberg and Morningstar) and present it in a client friendly manner Native-level English language proficiency (written and spoken), Fluency in Cantonese & Mandarin is an advantage Credible experience delivering campaigns and projects across the marketing mix Good interpersonal skills.
